ECC are delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at Groundswell, the unique two-day Regenerative Farming event and Conference held at Lannock Manor Farm in Hertfordshire next week on 22nd & 23rd June.
We will be showing how Short Rotation Coppice can be integrated into food and renewable energy production, as well as the exciting opportunities that agroforestry can bring to regenerative farming systems to boost income.
Safe, nutritious food can be successfully grown alongside renewable energy resources, all in line with the Government’s recently published Food Strategy. This mutually beneficial combination can lead to reduced soil erosion, flood alleviation, and increased income generation from using land that would otherwise not be suited to any type of food production
Both short rotation coppice and agroforestry systems are a great way of sequestering carbon and can be incorporated in other environmental schemes such as Countryside Stewardship and can support the Sustainable Farming initiative.
Come along and meet the team on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd June 2022 to arrange a free site survey, discuss planting in the 2023 season and learn how you can Grow Your IncomeTM.
Groundswell takes place at Lannock Manor Farm, a working no-till farm in North Hertfordshire, just off Junction 9 of the A1(M). The postcode is SG4 7EE. We look forward to seeing you there!
